A study done by the American College of Sports (ACSM) has proven that doing just one circuit is enough to change your silhouette if you are using equipment that offers positive and negative resistance.
This study, done with varied samples (athlete and non-athlete), could not prove any advantage to doing more than one series to develop strength, toning or muscular definition.
